Yarn: cotton, merino wool or mixed yarn with a yardage of approx. 120 m/50 g [131 yds/1.75 oz].
Recommended yarn: Naco Calico, Drops cotton merino, Schachenmayr merino extrafine, mink wool (350 m/50 g [382 yds/1.7 oz]), Laines du nord Baby soft, Alize cotton gold, Alize Bella.
Totals used: 30 (40) // 50 (50) 60 grams;
1 (1.4) // 1.7 (1.7) 2.1 ounces.
Needles: 3.5 mm [US4] circular needles with a cable length of 40 cm [16 in]; 4 mm [US6] double pointed needles.
Notions: 3 mm crochet hook, tapestry needle, markers, scissors.
Before starting, be sure to make and wash the sample. Adjust the size of the needles if it’s needed to achieve the correct gauge.
Gauge of the pattern after washing and blocking = approx. 22 sts x 44 rows = 10 x 10 cm
