Yarn: cotton yarn, 165 m/50 g [180 yds/1.7 oz].
Possible substitutions – cotton, merino wool or silk mohair.
Recommended yarn: Drops BabyAlpaca Silk, Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk, Drops Safran, Gazzal Baby Cotton.
Totals used: narrow collar – 20-25 grams [0.7-0.8 ounces], wide collar – 25-30 grams [0.8-1 ounces].
Needles: 4 mm [US6] circular needles with a cable length of 40 cm [16 in]; 3.5 mm [US4] double pointed needles.
Notions: 3 mm crochet hook, tapestry needle, scissors, 1 button with a diameter of approx. 1 cm [0.4 in].
Before starting, be sure to make and wash the sample. Adjust the size of the needles if it’s needed to achieve the correct gauge.
