Yarn: cotton yarn with a yardage of approx. 120 m/50 g [131 yds/1.75 oz].
Possible substitutions – cotton, merino wool or mixed yarn with a matching gauge of 4 mm [US6] needles.
Recommended yarn: Drops cotton merino, Lana Gatto super soft, Fibra natura papyrus, BBB premier.

Needles: 3.5 mm [US4] circular needles with a cable length of 40 cm [16 in]; 4 mm [US6] circular needles with a cable length of 40 cm [16 in] and 60 cm [24 in]; 3.5 mm [US4] and 4 mm [US6] double pointed needles.
Notions: 3 mm crochet hook, tapestry needle, scissors, markers, 4 (4) 4 (4) 4 (5) 5 buttons, about 1 yard of waste yarn in a contrasting color.
